The Spanish Business Council recently hosted its #GalaDinner at the exquisite 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant in Dubai. Over 130 guests filled the evening with elegance and meaningful connections as we celebrated ties between #Spain and the #UnitedArabEmirates.
The Gala Dinner brought together a distinguished gathering of business leaders, esteemed representatives from top companies, and the honorable Ambassador of Spain to the UAE, Iñigo de Palacio España. Their presence underscored the deep-rooted friendship and the remarkable growth in economic ties between our two nations. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the inspiring speeches delivered by Guillermo Cobelo, President of the SBC, and the Ambassador of Spain to the UAE, Iñigo de Palacio España. Their words resonated deeply, reaffirming the strength of our alliance and the boundless potential for future endeavors.
In recognition of excellence and innovation, we were honored to present the prestigious awards for ‘Emirati Business woman of the Year’, HH Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, ‘Spanish Businessman of the Year’, Dani García – The Chef, and ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’, Salvador Medina – Spanish Society. These remarkable individuals received a timeless symbol of artistry and tradition – the exquisite Menina sculpture crafted by the talented artist, Felipao.
