On 24 September, CIMD Dubai, the DIFC branch of Spanish financial company CIMD Intermoney, which has been present in the DIFC for more than 14 years, welcomed clients and partners to Sexy Fish Dubai for an evening centred on the theme “Performing Through Uncertainty.”
The special guest was Brett Lee, an Australian sporting legend, World Cup winner and one of the fastest bowlers in cricket history. For those less familiar with the sport, Brett competed at the highest international level and became one of cricket’s most recognised and respected figures, particularly across Australia, India, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
In a fireside conversation moderated by Paromita, Deputy Editor at Citywire Middle East, Brett shared candid insights into performing under pressure, making decisions in uncertain moments, maintaining discipline and recovering from setbacks—lessons that extend well beyond sport into leadership, business and investing.
The evening also marked an important moment in CIMD’s partnership with Brett, bringing clients and partners together around a shared belief in trust, resilience and the value of building long-term relationships.
